The following websites are useful starting points for cross-curricular work involving RE.

REEP   The REEP website - The Religious Education and Environment Programme specialises in the fields of spirituality, the environment and religion, providing thought-provoking resources for teachers and learners. The REEP website has a range of resources, for primary and secondary schools, designed to stimulate imaginative and intellectual involvement in some of the environmental problems that confront modern society. REEP works with all faiths and is non-denominational.

SRSP

The Science and Religion in Schools Project aims to provide a range of resources for the teaching of Science and Religion in secondary schools, with the object of ensuring that students are well informed, have a balanced view of the science and religion debate, and study both subjects with open-minded humility. After an extensive trials phase, resources will become available on the website.

SMSC   SMSC Online (Spiritual, Moral, Social, Cultural) is a support website promoting the integration of spiritual, moral, social and cultural values across all subjects, and includes a database of resource providers, links, ideas and advice.

I*EARN   I*EARN - The International Education and Resource Network facilitates and supports cross-curricular and collaborative projects which "both enhance learning and make a difference in the world".

Oxfam   Oxfam's Cool Planet site includes resources for teachers and students on a range of Global Citizenship themes.

Christian Aid   Christian Aid's Le@rn Zone includes both primary and secondary downloadable classroom materials about global issues, and also a link to the interactive Global Gang website.

Film and Faith
Film and Faith explores the use of film as a rich resource in RE, for both primary and secondary schools. It provides background information, useful examples, links, and practical advice for teachers.
