About REonline

REonline was first launched in 2005 (succeeding theREsite, originally launched 1998). Its main function is as a portal site, providing information for all those working and interested in Religious Education in England. Additional resources are produced to supplement an identified need when finance and time allow. Further links for those working in other parts of the UK are provided when we are advised by our team of contacts.

A note about website links:

REonline provides links to many other websites, all checked for content appropriate for use in RE.

Links are checked regularly, but REonline has no editorial control over external sites and is not responsible for the content of any external site.

Please note that when a link is made to a particular page, this does not imply an endorsement of the whole of the contents of that website.

A note about privacy and cookies

Privacy

If you contact us, you can be assured that we will keep any personal information you supply in confidence. We would not disclose any personal identifiers to any other parties without first gaining your permission.

Use of cookies on this site

Some parts of REonline use cookies. A cookie is simply a short data file stored on your computer, which the associated web pages need in order to function fully (or in some cases, to function at all).

Cookies are used in some parts of REonline to ensure continuity, making sure that your use of the website isn't mixed up with anyone else's. Such cookies contain no personal information about you whatsoever, don't identify you in any way, and are necessary for correct operation.

The main menu bar in REonline uses a cookie to remember whether you choose options from the Teacher Resources or the Student Resources menu, so the site's display can adapt accordingly

The 'share' buttons in RE Matters also make use of cookies: these are 3rd party cookies not controlled by REonline and are used for a wide variety of purposes. You can find out more about them at www.addthis.com/privacy, where you will also find information about a useful selective opt-out facility.

REonline is a collaborative project, funded by the Association of Church College Trusts (ACCT).
