The conference is an exciting, new opportunity to develop a conversation between ITT tutors, teachers and consultants to share our experiences of good practice in preparing trainee teachers to teach high quality primary RE. It is part of a project responding to the Commission on Religious Education’s recommendation that all trainees should receive 12 hours’ provision as part of their initial training (CoRE, 2018).
