Networking RE

little light bulbs

We’re really excited to be working with NATRE and RE Today on a new plan to support regional and local networks. The plan will provide for a national coordinator, ten regional coordinators of networks, regular regional conferences, and financial support for new local groups. It’s an inclusive plan, welcoming many sources of high-quality CPD – for example, joining up the RE Quality Mark, Research for RE, professional associations, Teach RE Course, and the 3forRE scheme, spreading news about opportunities for all RE teachers, including those who feel isolated.

We’re doing what we can to keep the circuits buzzing and the RE light bulbs shining. Watch this space for more news.

Too many teachers of RE are isolated, under pressure on budgets, time and thinking space. As a charity our job is to respond to that need by offering practical, sustainable CPD infrastructures, and by being the courage, compassion and change we seek in RE.
