Bookings are now open!

We’re excited to announce that we’re launching a new round of funding and will be open to new applications from this October, so if you haven’t yet had a grant, this is your chance!

To launch the fund we’d like to invite you to a special event celebrating the wonderful work of all those who received grants through last year’s pilot Religion and Worldviews Home Educators Fund. The event is family-friendly and free and will take place on Tuesday 15th September at the Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) in Birmingham. This will be a chance to:

  • Connect with other home educating families
  • Explore creative and inspiring projects funded in the pilot year
  • Learn more about the next round of funding and how to apply with the best chance of success

The Fund has been co-designed by a group of home educating families and three education charities:

All Saints Educational Trust, Culham St Gabriel’s, and St Peter’s Saltley Trust. It was created in response to the lack of dedicated support for home educators, with the aim of enabling children and young people to engage with diverse religious and non-religious worldviews in meaningful, personalised ways. This will be a warm, welcoming and family-friendly day. There will be a storytelling corner and a craft table for children, goody bags, and plenty of time to explore beautiful Cannon Hill Park just outside the venue.

Date: Tuesday 15th September 2026

Location: Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham

Time: 11am – 1.30pm

Tea, coffee and juice provided – bring a picnic!

This event is currently open to all families involved in home education, so please share this opportunity with anyone you think might be interested. Booking is essential, and places are limited, so don’t miss out!
