What was RExChange 2020?
This event brought together the concept of exchange with the Culham St Gabriel’s and Templeton World Charity Foundation Research7 funded projects. In light of the Commission on RE report (2018) and wider educational discourse, there has been an increased desire within the RE professional community to root classroom practice in research. The conference sought to enhance this paradigm shift seeking to become a pivotal moment within the RE Community for researcher- practitioner collaboration.
The RExChange Festival took place in Autumn 2020 and included pre-recorded films, a one-day virtual conference, #REchatUk event, virtual regional events and seminars.

In Conversation…
Inspired by RExChange this new series of free virtual seminars brings researchers and teachers together through conversation. In each session the researcher will give a very brief summary of a key piece of research and invite participants to ask questions, provide feedback and comment. The themes connect to sessions led by each researcher at the RExChange conference.
