Can Primary RE provide a window on the world for pupils?

17th – 23rd May 2025

In partnership with NATRE

This Focus Week explores how primary RE helps pupils make sense of the world around them and develop understanding of different religions and worldviews.

Through practical approaches and classroom insights, it highlights how RE can build curiosity, broaden perspectives and support meaningful learning in primary settings.

Key questions explored:

  • What does high quality religion and worldviews education look like in primary schools?
  • Why does RE matter in the primary curriculum?

During the week, we hosted a series of online events exploring these themes.
