REQM – Teaching and Learning Strands

This month we present two strands of the REQM; ‘Teaching’ and ‘Learning’. As you can see these two aspects are judged separately. You will find all criteria for the 4 strands here.
These PPTs contain questions that assessors might ask. They are also helpful to inform discussions and decisions among staff during the preparations for assessment.
You will find in the ‘teaching’ strand PPT what is understood by high quality RE teaching, as well as expectations for the different levels of award.
In the ‘Learning’ strand you will be encouraged to think about how you can create high quality learning experiences in the classroom.
